Old Photography Miscellaneous

43 Discovered works of art
Is photography art, or just the image of an object?

This has been and is being argued since the beginning of the 15th century, and according to ancient traditions, it came between the painters' guild and the first photographer to fierce arguments. There was even murder and manslaughter.
Of course, the original photograph does not have the status of a painting. However, those who know the long way from camera triggering to image development appreciate old photographs. With their grayscale values, they enrich rooms and often attract visitors into the photo.

How was photography created? Well, it was Leonardo Da Vinci who discovered the possibility of light painting in the 15th century, because that is photography, and designed the first known camera. Today it is known as "Camera Obscura". Of course, there was no movie or the famous glass plates. Only through a small hole was the outside world projected onto a wall. What followed then was unacceptable to the guild of painters. The Obscura, developed by Da Vinci, has inspired many contemporaries to enter the art world with this technique.

However, the object picture known today only began with the possibility of permanently recording a portrait on a film.

But no matter how the technique was used, the source of photography remains crucial: a small hole creates magnificent and imposing photographs.
They enliven rooms, they fascinate the observer, they tell stories from past times.
